2009 ACEAA Varsity Boys Champions in Basketball...2 Titles in one year!

Not only did our boys win the Football Championship, but they have also taken the Basketball Championship as well. Go Eagles!!!

See what a new floor can do!!! Just kidding! All joking aside, it was a complete team effort. We have been blessed beyond measure and definitely more than we deserve!!!

Senior Night Basketball...

Last night was Senior Night and we recognized all the Senior Cheerleaders and Basketball players between the girls' varsity and boys' varsity games. This closes another chapter in the 2008-2009 school year as this was the last home game for some of those playing. It was bittersweet and joyful at the same time. We have watched these athletes grow and mature, so we know they must leave us one day, but it is an experience that melts the heart and brings a tear to the eye. These are like my own children in many ways and the love I feel for them will not grow cold in May when they leave VCA. No, for I look forward to watching them continue to grow and mature into Godly young men and women.

Dissecting Day...Ewwww!

A couple of weeks ago, the Sophmore class spent the day with Mrs. Jones dissecting fetal pigs in their Biology class. It was an excellent learning experience for our students and even opened the eyes of some to careers in the medical field!
